Day 1 - Monday March 2
Do Now:
List 5 things you SAW on the way to school today:
How could you make an interesting set of images about 1 of those things?
Work:
Google Doc - share out your list of 5 things, then choose someone else's thing and imagine a way to use it as a series ( do 3 of these)
EXAMPLE:
Today I saw: 1) a little girl crying, 2)a cat jump into the dumpster, 3) a boy and girl walking to school, 4) a man singing in the car, and 5) frost covering my windshield.
Idea 1: i loved the way the frost looked on my windshield, the texture was so cool. I'd like to make a set of images from inside my car looking through the glass (wet or snowy or dirty)
Idea 2: The little girl crying made me think about all the ways people feel every day. I'd like to make a set of images in which people are having emotions really obviously. For example, crying out loud, laughing very hard or looking super scared.
Idea 3: The cat jumping into the dumpster makes me think of things/people without homes. I'd like to go over to the highway and ask the homeless guys if I can photograph them. Maybe also take pictures of the place that homeless guys use to sleep.
